I’m fairly sure they added new jpeg’s to the store and made certain that works properly

Oh yeah the 'starter pack' take is super-basic. It ignores price variability over time and location, dupes etc etc.
The point it's trying to make is: If everyone only bought a starter pack, this whole swirl of shenanigans wouldn't exist. So the newer $45 backers who say 'Who cares about the past? I'm getting my money's worth!' are ignoring who funded their solar-system-sized hoop and stick
. And shouldn't try and smoosh those with more galactic-tier gripes...Oh yep it was ArcCorp...
