Just quietly though... India had a release date, and an arrival date for that matter. They also appear to have a fully working product. They might even make it to Pyro quicker than CIG. ;)

The poster who suggested that Ci~G were shutting 3rd party sales down is only partially correct and not for that reason. Whilst Ci~G don't allow the sales of complete accounts, any ship or ship package 'gifted' between accounts (the way the grey market operates) cannot be returned to the original account (except in genuine instances of account theft) as long as the main account itself is not part of the transaction. There are obviously ways around this limitation. If the account seller has all or most of his ships tied to one game package, the purchase of another $45 starter package will keep the account open, then freeing up the main ship package for sale/transfer.

I do not mean the geographical place of the alleged layoffs. Given the guy is referring to "layoffs transpiring" I was hoping there was perhaps a bit more evidence already in the public domain of actual layoffs than just a couple of guys saying they are leaving. But maybe that is all he meant. In which case it is a non issue.

Correct, and any complaint against a mod was handled by CMs. CMs had a number of options available to them, from hitting the mod with a warning, forum ban (yes), or remove them as moderators, assuming they sided with the reporter.

With very early high tier backers already having paid for all 3 episodes and a lot of other early backers having paid for 1 and 2.

If this is true, it hardly bodes well for CIG, since in 11 years they still haven't produced SQ42, despite it almost being finished in 2014 (according to CIG), so throwing more people at the problem isn't likely to resolve much. Pretty well known in project management and software development circles that throwing more staff at a failing project just leads to more problems.
