They're asking for feedback on Master Modes. I'm sure this will go well ....

They probably do not care if it goes well or not. In fact they may be looking for it to go especially bad and dramatic. If Soulsinger is what many think it is entering into a discussion about one of SC´s most divisive topics has high chances to make players forget about Soulsinger!

Bored has bowled onto the bandwagon...

All the same panoply of takes in the comments. This one was perplexing though:

On the thread on spectrum I had pointed out that it's a class 9 copyright filing (meaning its unlikely to be a game) My comment has since been moderated for "misinformation" and there hasn't been a dev response. I'm worried. I have receipts in case anyone is incredulous.

I mean they are wrong, but that's not normally Knightrider's metric ;)

Just make stuff invulnerable, no need to fix your broken physics.

New thread on Spectrum about Soulsinger

Looks like the prevailing answer so far is "its new tech for Star Citizen" - not sure why they want to push this narrative. First of all, the name really doesn't sound like a piece of tech for anything, and doubly so for Star Citizen. Secondly, if it turns out otherwise they are going to look dumb. Thirdly, we know Tony Zzzzz was put onto a separate project not related to SC or SQ42. Lastly, if it was just the name of a new bit of tech, then i'm sure CIG would have come out and said that.

Oh my...

I'm guessing it's the collection of AI services and tools that CIG have created, in order to sell / lease to third parties to generate income.

Yeah, right. Which third party would ever want to use tools created by CIG? They are the laughing stock of the industry.

EDIT: Someone saying its fine for them to start on another game as they can use the profits (that don't exist yet) from sales of SQ42 (and later they say they think its coming soon). Problem is, even if they release SQ42 (or SC for that matter), that's not the end of development for the game(s). SQ42 they still owe backers at least part 2 and in principle part 3. And even if they slap a 1.0 on Star Citizen, there's still a ton of missing stuff that needs adding.
