Which means their stuff about crafting coming with heavy timers to drive subscriptions is likely spot on too

Plus no dates for 1.0 of course, one of the greatest advantages of not giving any deadline I guess is that you can make the pitch as outrageous as you want.

1.0 is that the full launch version of SC? If it only has 5 systems and excludes other promised features of the Kickstarter then CIG could get sued.
Chris Roberts lost all credibility for repeatedly lying about release dates in videos and at CitizenCons.
It's a shame they won't do the base / station building any time soon. With them being player-destroyable I wonder how many will survive for any length of time.
