Game Discussions Star Citizen Discussion Thread v12

It’s the only reason i can think of why CIG are delaying releasing their financials. Maybe Calders are holding out for some free JPGs?
Delays could also be a consequence of potential ongoing discussions with investors in order to renegotiate the investments return terms or even company governance or operational/commercial priorities.

And getting downvoted even though its 100% spot on.

EDIT: And the only thing they've got in response is "Nice try refundian" - no actual argument about SQ42 price still missing. Just a silly attack because they refunded.

One guy even tried the "Release dates aren't relevant" - i wonder how many years they are willing to wait and how long before they start to think release dates are relevant.

Are those the new type of mining containers from the new ship?
I seem to remember a developer saying on video that the mining bags only clipped through the elevator because they put the model anchor in the wrong position but couldn't fix it in time for the 3.23(?) patch release. It's still not fixed and now a new model has the same bug, too.

Yeppp...

Well, they know perfectly well, what is wrong with them bags. It was explained in detail, in one of their videos (i think a q&a one, but idk exactly which). The ‚snap-point‘ of the bags is offset to work with the mole/prospector attachment points, so they need to rework some stuff and this would be fixed ‚soon‘. They just need to ‚investigate‘ when this ‘soon‘ is.

And they continue to fund this st-show, gleefully.
It's all hollow promises and sleight of hand, constantly, consistently. It's so amusing to watch though :D

Hmm interesting...

Citizens have been claiming for a while that ramp booms are unusual now. (Under videos of ramp booms... mainly on the C2).

I wonder if CIG have gone for the ultimate kludge fix to ramp boom-a-bility... just turn off the damage pool when it's open...

I've noticed that shooting into someone's open cargo area when [they] have a ramp that's down doesn't affect the ship at all.
Not only MSR but sometimes also Starfarer or C2. It's always the area around the ramp, which is fairly obstructed on the Starfarer by the fuel tanks, hence you don't notice as much and on the C2 very noticable if the ramp opens due to damage.

A plan with no flaws. Until everyone realises ;). Open ramp = invulnerable from the rear...

(I guess they'll just slap some 'space drag' speed penalty on it or something...)

It's only the cost of an actual released AAA game!
View attachment 423429

And they pulled in a million in the last day due to it, meaning they sold somewhere over 15,000 of these. Crazy.

Over on the SC sub someone posted that people on refunds would be having a meltdown over this ship selling for $60.... yes, of course, refunders will be having a meltdown because CIG is selling a ship for the price of a AAA game.

Oh someone laid out this table...

Good :)

EDIT:

And this is with 2 bonus servers being stolen from Pyro to reinforce the Stanton event locations seemingly...

The servers are running one extras on each event planet, still not enough it seems, we really do need dynamic
