Game Discussions Star Citizen Discussion Thread v12

He left the casino due to low takings (COVID/lockdown/restrictions) and sometimes-inconvenient working hours, for a more reliable job elsewhere.

That might be it. I definitely remember him talking about quitting all work and focusing on streaming though. Maybe that simply never happened. Not enough money, not enough followers.

Just as a reminder.....

I m looking forward to Moles career start as a Star Citizen streamer. While other inferior streamers would oogle us with nice flashy backgrounds and cats/dogs he would stream from inside his barn with open doors allowing us to witness his close-cliff ragged fields, having demonic cows wandering into the picture shooting red-glowing glares at his back and predatory cats stalking the stream pouncing at his hands.

If the setting isnt horrific enough for ya the game itself would occasionally enhance the impression by turning spagetti or Mole demonstrating the facial recognition software at work.

I predict 50.000+ viewers easily ^^

I'm simply not 'precious' enough to be a streamer...not that manically depressive or attention seeking either, all of which seem to be essential prerequisites :)

I'm a bit like this bloke...inherently offensive when let loose in public or put in front of a camera :D

Mike already has a real job...besides streaming that is. I've no idea what he does, but he's mentioned having a job more than a few times when streaming or on his YouTube channel.
Didn't he say he was a bartender before covid hit? This was sometime late last year (might have been the stream in which he announced he was engaged to be married)

It's so bad that the griefers are complaining about how easy it is to grief. :ROFLMAO:

It's clearly a plan to kite the missiles back at the station ;)

But damnn, when even boredom griefing needs some QoL 😄

Yeah a few days ago I saw Captain Berks spend the last 30 minutes or so of his stream stuck at a station because his spawned ship kept getting destroyed.

pro tip - switch servers. if someone is determined you are never getting out.

or i guess you could spawn something big like a caterpillar so it spawns in a hanger, not a pad.

Hit scan weapons (like well lasers is this IS scifi after all) with enough oomph should solve that problem. As far as I understood from thread real problem is that SC's AI can't figure out proped lead for shots to hit. Simplest solution would be giving them weapons that do not need to take account projectile vs target speeds.

Did i miss a meme where people switch hanger and hangar ? I've seen people referring to the thing you use to hang coats with as "hangar" so seeing now the wardrobe accessory used to describe places where you store ships is almost consistent in a way. Or is that you just hang your Caterpillar somehow ?

Server desync makes them impossible to hit even at close range.
