Just dumped out a long way from the system centre. (And some damage I think)
(Although as this is in exclusive pre-pre-pre-testing mode, plenty of other things can happen too. Like not being able to QT back to the centre, being left with no collision, and falling out anyway and witnessing a giant spaceworm

Yeah it varies a fair bit patch to patch, but trends towards 'very alpha'
This particular patch is being compared to 3.18, the one where no one could log in...
(Although this time it's just a general ball of dysfunction. New features not working particularly well, old features remaining unfixed, lots of desynch, all the legacy bugs that get exacerbated in those conditions etc).
They've been slow to remedy some of the standard gunk as they've been focused on their annual alpha convention...
Given the next major patch is supposed to be the server meshing 'Tier 0' patch, I wouldn't expect huge improvements in the mid-term...

Maybe they don't have some much opportunities to go against Cig's narrative. I culd be wrong but it seems to me like the game is nt attracting so much criticism from mainstream media or from youtuber... At least not as much as it should.
The mainstream gaming press just kinda ignores it, since it is not a finished product yet. They just kinda point and shrug their shoulders when it hits a new funding milestone and everyone regards it as kind of a joke, which it is.
