But it was, Taylor already played all the missions 4 years ago. Except it wasn't up to Christopher Robin's standards, so they had to scrap it, ditch all subsumption, vent fidelity and start laying out pipelines from ground up.
Obviously that is the proper way to do
Only issue I see is that 2.2k days is much more than 2-3 years, so the new SQ42 will become stale and not up to standards before it's finished. Again. But hey, as long as one can keep pledging more money, that's not a problem!
Out of Curiosity what are the tiers in relation to the amount of money people throw at CIG ?

Taylor told bull. There is no SQ42 and they are having trouble even inventing a roadmap for a roadmap for it. Their problem is they told so many lies they don't know anymore what they can tell.

As for ship shaped following whoever build them, CRoberts avoided that bullet in Wing Commander (his space cats flied blade or knife-shaped things) but the Esperia ships are definitely aviary. Oh well, who cares, it doesnt change the game or helps deliver it.

I think its more apparent because the faithful can't downvote threads and every time they post to defend CIG they bump the thread so the salt becomes more visible, not less.
Space games are in high demand. I welcome it. There was almost a decade of drought while zombie survival clones and asset flips tried to land. SWTOR wasn't so bad - the narration carried quite well through the levels. I'd rather say it's more due to EA now offering their catalogue on Steam.I guess.
