OK, I'll add another 90 day until gone broke again. It's true CIG had a poor October but the number includes that unexplained one day drop of about $1.4 million and another drop of $500,000.

Or a lot of backers already enjoy the alpha or find it promising and continue to support it ?An emergency move so the faithful think their dream is in danger and open their wallets even more?
...for so long...for so little
It's plausible. If people were prepared to throw money at CIG when they had nothing, it's reasonable to think people will throw more money at them when they have something.Or a lot of backers already enjoy the alpha or find it promising and continue to support it ?
You always dismiss the principal reasons...

My homestead is my Kraken. Move it when I want, no building necessary.
Maybe you can build a homestead on one of the landing pads?
Good job from them so to keep a steady income. If it wasn't for ship sales, CIG would have gone under years ago.
The prison was added because that's what the game engine can do. It can't deliver Star Citizen. The prison was added to give an appearance of progress, because Chris is running a confidence scam....or the prison is a wrong gameplay...
I've read this many times, but I don't understand, please elaborate. Who's monetary value of the alpha game is increasing? CIG's?it doesn't change the fact that the monetary value of the current alpha as a game increase patch after patch

And when some of you say "when they had nothing" or "without rewards" patch after patch it's only your vision (and for some a really distant vision as they have never tested the alpha) of what CIG deliver. For a lot of backers, CIG is actually delivering (slowly) something of a certain value. You dismiss or deny what a lot of backers really and personally get in exchange of their money. Dismissing or denying it doesn't make it disappear.
You can say force reaction is not useful/bugged, or eating/drinking is stupid, or the flight model revamp should have been made 5 years ago, or the prison is a wrong gameplay, or the ROC is just a variant of mining, or the new light/heightmap is just cosmetic, or the new BB API is just a something you find in other game... it doesn't change the fact that the monetary value of the current alpha as a game increase patch after patch. The gamebreakings bugs seriously decrease this market value, but they will not last forever. Each bug fixe also increases the value of the game.
For me, I get patch after patch as reward more and more fun from the alpha. My fun in a game has a value ? I think so.
No it wasn’t. Sometimes I wonder how people can be this dense. It was added as a punishment system to dissuade people from ruining other players game. It’s a fair balance, not perfect yet but not bad either. Why do you guys always run with the craziest conspiracy theories? The prison was added because that's what the game engine can do. It can't deliver Star Citizen. The prison was added to give an appearance of progress, because Chris is running a confidence scam.
This is nothing more than just your opinionIt makes no sense to add in the prison before the crime system is fleshed out. This would make sure players don't get inappropriately punished. But players have been inappropriately punished. For months and months. SaltEMike recently rage quit out of a stream because of it.
They added prisons because that's all they are capable of doing. That's why it suddenly popped up on the roadmap right before they added it to the game. It gives the illusion of progress. It's all just to get more money for as long as they can.
Prison is essential part of the crime system (like bounty or hacking gameplay). You can't 'flesh out' the crime system without it. It's alpha, they add it when they need it, not when it's convenient for the players. It makes no sense to add in the prison before the crime system is fleshed out.
No it’s not. Why do you attack the person btw? This is exactly like talking to creationists about evolution. No difference.
He doesn't know how to respond or lack arguments so he attacks the person. No it’s not. Why do you attack the person btw?
