Aye...I discovered the ramp physics are kinda borked on the Asp Scout Nomad...after exploding in a ball of fire 3 times in a row trying to park a loaded Roc in it. I switched to the Fat Python Mercury Star Runner for mining transport being another new ship and all that. I'm quite liking the Fat Python Mercury SR, very posh and almost everything works. Internally, it has shades of a mini Carrack all in all. It was either the Fat Python Mercury SR or my usual Cutty Black for shuffling the Roc around since the Asp Scout Nomad proved to be a bit of a failure when loading vehicles onto it. The Roc tends not to explode when parking it in either of those other ships
The shape of the nose, wings and general appearance of the Fat Python Mercury SR reminds me a lot of E-D's proper Python...which is probably why I like it....with a lot less guns and even less cargo space of course. Besides that, it's a decent ship...pretty quick and agile with decent shields and unlike the Carrack, has forward firing weaponry and missiles for the pilot as well as top and bottom dorsal turrets for the minions to play with
Tell me that's not a Fat Python...I've spent thousands of hours flying a Python in E-D...it's a bloody Python rip-off. Well done Ci¬G
I like this idea, (even if in this case it is to avoid touching the ground as we all know how dangerous that is) if tis too OP for landing then at least allow pick up by hovering above for those times when youre half way up a mountain.
hmm, just seen the ramp, could be issues with that, was thinking of ED where you enter and exit from directly below. That ramp just re-adds the problem back in it fixed by hovering surely?
