True, but other Cryengine games don’t seem to be quite as deadly to the casual pedestrian or passing vehicle.

Seems like CIG have exacerbated the issue with their additions, at minimum.
Maybe they just wired all the exception handlers in their code to the explosions. Like, once something is about to break the engine, just make it go kaboom.
Trolley messing up physics grid transition? Ship go kaboom, problem solved.
Tonk glitched through planet surface? Tonk go kaboom, problem solved.
Weiner glitched through hot-dog bun? Weiner go kaboom, problem solved.
 
Well, when you read it, they have a point, a new player loads into the now obsolete hanger module and wonders "why? what? is this it???????????????"
The better solution would be to move it down the selection list, and give it a better description to inform the playtesters.

Customisable, multiplayer hangars have been amongst the project's stated featureset since the beginning.
 
The NPC's in SC aren't really Ai...they're just moving scenery on a set track.
