Elevator Incident free tooStrange that I don't seem to have any issues getting in and out of a Prospector, I haven't since the olden days of the ladders of doom back in 3.5/3.6...I'm not suggesting it doesn't happen since I can plainly see it happening, not only from video but also from reading the many ICC reports on the subject...
It only makes me wonder... what are those streamers and other players doing that I'm not? I don't have to crouch, spin around 3 times, remove weapons, fill my pockets full of magic beans or put my head between my knees to kiss my butt goodbye...nothing. I just click on the door and get in...faultlessly... 100% of the times I do it, and I do it a lot more than most. Maybe it's the snazzy blue paintjob on my Prospy? Obviously, that makes it work better that any random poor person's mining ship. I have a distinctly average PC, much less than average speed net connection at 16 down and 8 up... so it's not that
(Vid to follow when it's finished processing. I'm at the same refinery as the streamer...even got the same pad, so it's not a location specific thing)
holy moly! yes, i watched his stream today too! If you watch on the twitch side you'll see me pop every now and then in chat.
did you catch the part where he was absolutely miserable having to walk through his ship interior when he docked the 890 Jump?
Astro nearly in tears having to go through his ship
Do you know, did he drop a grand on the 890J or did he buy it in game? Did not pick up on that. If I had to bet I'd say bought in game.
Surely the servers have been crashing on him left and right. Can't really do anything in SC without a server crash.
I've been streaming for four and half hours
Oh no, what is he doing???? He said the "f" word and is talking about buying ships in game. CIG will be giving him a stern talking to!
astro said the f word
Someone in the D2EA video's comment had tested your idea and it was it. Big armors glitch in the structure and kill you this patch.
hyperbole baby! How long do i need to watch the video before i see a grown man cry?

I'll accept it in JPG form.

Game engines are iterated for a bunch of years, then are replaced because iterating the previous edition is no longer feasible. The year the original source engine was made is irrelevant if it's been constantly improved and updated.CryEngine3 is a 12 year old engine at this point (from 2009). It being too fidelicious is the least of CIG's problems.
Frontier Cobra engine is 33 years old at this point (from 1988) and manages to deal just fine with all kinds of gfx effects and game styles. (Well sort of.)
You're comparing me to some religious zealots now? Oh dearDon't worry. I'm used to creationists telling me the same thing. They're wrong.
