What does playable mean, anyway. Lots of people find enjoyment in the broken mess, emergent gameplay is a strong driver for many of backers.

Ship sale incoming before you can say "So when is 3.15 coming out".

3.14 only launched 4 days ago, there hasn't even been time for a single hotfix, the first live build for each major patch is always a mess, the same can be said for every Elite Dangerous update in recent history too. When launching an update to a game there are going to be issues at first, and it will take time to fix them.

They released on a Friday. That's on them.

FD being bad doesn't make CIG any better. It just makes both bad.

Stop with the excuses.
 
I do play it, and yes, we all knew it wasn't ready, they just wanted to get it out in Q2 (or what they can pretend is Q2) It was by no means ready, but given how games are these days being ready doesn't seem to be considered a prerequisite for launching a product anymore.

CIG repeatedly claimed and promised to be better than those big bad nasty publishers.

Guess there really is no difference then.
 
3.14 is seriously broken.

Moving things around to fix the desync all they are doing is moving the problem elsewhere.

Last night i couldn't get a single ship claimed after getting destroyed, i reset character, after that as soon as loaded back in my Mobiglass stopped working entirely and in one form or another i couldn't get in or get a single ship to power up.

I have never seen it this broken.

The servers are overloaded, way way way overloaded and simply moving the pieces around isn't going to fix it, they need to take more radical action. Server Meshing, they should have started work on this 4 years ago, not last week.

There is far to much in one system, Stanton, for the servers to handle on their own.

Was it the single 890 Jump Ti in the SC world? Maybe 33 others were trying to claim it at the same time. Just try again in a later hour when fewer are online.
