ShardID - aka, they simply replaced the word server with shard to get the faithful dreamcrafting about the awesome progress CIG must be making.

that ID is different every time you log in.This wouldn't be the fist time they added something, be it to the back end or a feature, in part or whole, without telling anyone about it, not by a long way, they do it all the time.
I'm not by any stretch saying "Server Meshing is in" but it could indicate one or some of many parts of it, also, i have never seen 100 FPS + where my GPU can handle it, i glitched out of the ship in the same session and was pushing 150 in space.

We have to wait for the PU to confirm but a lot of guys have a lot better FPS in 3.17. More pieces of the gen 12 renderer pushed in this patch ? CIG haven't talked about it.
Do you not see how that applies equally to positive reviews? It's no more stupid than telling the cook how much fun you're having eating the cake batter, or drawing faces in the wet concrete. If we take all your affirmations of the "fun" you're having in the alpha, they are just as good to throw in the garbage.

Ironically by his own measurements this would suggest his channel is also "dying" and SC must be too, I guess.

CIG add something to the game without doing at least 10 shows mentioning it before and after?!!!!
There is none. It's like arguing there are no doors in Star Citizen. The real question indeed is whether this real game with doors is any fun, worth the money, and what was originally pitched.
The answers to the first two are "probably not for most, but some might genuinely disagree" and the answer to the third is "lol no".

Glitches are glitches. I'm sure it's something that they are trying to fix. The thing which bothers me more about that video is the thing which is working as intended... How long are the journey times in Star Citizen? It's great you can get out of yer chair to alleviate the boredom a bit, but is there anything you can do when you get out of yer chair other than walk about a bit and admire the corridors?
Can you spend the time in transit checking out yer ship's systems and improve them? I notice there was a pack of cards on the table. Can you play cards with fellow passengers? More importantly seeing as you can't be sure there'd be anybody else onboard... can you play "pass the journey time" games with other commanders in other ships?
