The only reason you're seeing everything darker is that you haven't reached True Enlightenment™.
My game looks perfectly normal!
(Of course, that may be because I'm still stuck in Horizons since I can't afford a 3090 made of unobtainium to reach the Holy 30 fps, but that's IRRELEVANT!)
