Well, at like 68 views, he's in the top 12 elite dangerous videos released in the last day by view count.
I may have made a credit or two exploring also... 
As is obvious, one account is much more inclined toward exploration!

over 22 thousand systems visited by my first character. My time played has suffered a huge hit these past couple years. i think i have only like 13 weeks on the first character. and that was nearly all accumulated in the first 4 years of the game.
I'm not joking. last i checked when posting. you were the 12th most viewed elite dangerous video uploaded in the last 24 hours. Higher if you discount the russian videos since ...who can trust those view counts.I hope you are joking!

But, I'm not whatever an "actual explorer" might be - I was going space mad from the 3 weeks or so getting to Beagle & back from Colonia, just that account is Colonia based and likes to do some Tourism when not blowing stuff up, or stealing cargo etc.
The players who can and do spend months or years 'in the black' are entirely different beasts to me, more power to them!
