would be pretty original if elite made it canonical that cats could sense dimensional disturbances, which is why they always seemed to look thru you and had so many mystical ties in ancient times. So it's regular for pilots especially venturing out in the black to bring cats with them. Then in the game, they are used as kind of an early warning sensor that you have to befriend and interact with. Otherwise you could miss a good anomaly or be caught up in a bad one and potentially die.

Cmon Fdev. cockpit cats are where you can really rise beyond everything else that's out there.

FD need to re-cannon the original inhabitants and give us the felines of old:

i haven't looked at any of this exploit stuff yet. i'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the discount applied to purchasing it, but selling back those modules (or the fleet carrier itself) was done at full price. Allowing you to profit. (probably via selling to a different location)
