State of the Game

You lasted longer than me. I became "tired and emotional" before 50k due to too much blue nun.
Can confirm feel rubbish.
I'm not feeling as bad as I thought I would, but have felt better.
The night must have taken an intriguing turn, as I also seem to have an odd photo on my phone which I don't remember taking - it's of a "specialist" nature,
so have enclosed it in spoiler tags

Its a picture of Lap Joint Flange

Wow, look at those smooth curves and rock hard edges. A man could really lose himself in a flange like that.

Very nice, thanks. The place was being sold so it was a bit bare though (my parents in law act as on site wardens). Apparently some German dentists bought it.

Good stuff. Were there any beach towels on the seats?

That looks like a DIN2642 PN10 DN 15/20 x 10 flange to me. I'm a bit of an expert..

I'm not entirely sure but they seem OK, unlike the guys selling who viewed problems as a matter of money to be thrown at.
Ah, I've think I've encountered this mentality before when we moved house. I remember looking at a house in a lovely little village where the owner's dogs had been chewing on skirting boards, the damp had been left untreated, and it was probably last cleaned by the house's previous owners, but the seller wanted us to pay extra because it was a "renovation opportunity"...

They were more like "I don't have time to learn about how it works so here is £100 to buy a screw and do it for me".

So whats this double engineering CG module issue then? What happened?
Waah waah waah gimme stuphz.

Okay.
While that is surely the essence of it all, I'll give a more well rounded description here.

CG has double engineered FSDs for rewards.

Community remembers that previous double engineered FSD (5), and other modules, could have experimental effects added by the owner. Looks forward to adding expereimental effects to the new ones.

Friday arrives and people begin engineering experimentals on their new drives but get a "server error" when trying, asks on forum about resolution...

FF to Wednesday, FDev put out a statement that the drives are acting as intended. Forum gets all fire and brimstoney...

FDev caves and makes the drives the way the forum wants...

Questions?

So...the original Class 5 FSD ability to apply new experimentals was a mistake then really?

I bet that all went down like a mug of cold sick.

Somehow I think that one WAS intended...but I may be misremembering...also new rewards will be "clearly marked" going forward to prevent future unreasonable expectations...and the need to backpedal...
