I have been made aware of a most excellent story- apparently bomb disposal in the UK were called when a patient went to A+E with a cannon shell stuck....there :D

The guy said "I was polishing the shell and accidentally sat on it" :D
A (junior a&e) doctor's lot is not a bummy pun.

From what I've heard it's quite routine to have people arrive in a&e with 'lost' items, so don't bother offering 'explanations' as frankly no one believes nor cares. They'll have seen it all.

I was going to say, I had a few mates who were nurses years back and from some of the tales they told me, after a year in A&E I doubt anything other than the QE2 and/or Lord Lucan being up there would be a shock to them.
