State of the Game

It's the time of year when the planting for next season is to be considered.
So far I've got this and looking forward to keeping you all updated on the progress:

If anyone goes 'blue peter garden' on my kale I'll be very disappointed.
It was all looking good up to the Kale, although 'Nero Di Toscano' sounds much better than Kale.
I must start looking at my stuff for next year.

Got any ideas to brighten up my raises beds (outside the back door) to look pretty over winter. I tried pansies, but they failed. They only time they worked, was when I grew them from seed, and they were great, and lasted months

  1. How do you cook salad (she is very fond of them)
  2. What is a washing machine
  3. Do you think she would punch my lights out, if I say that using the hand held Dyson is good exercise for her weaker right hand side ?

I know I can trust our enlightened brethren and sisteren to provide useful advice on these issues.

1. No idea what Salad is
2. A significant other
3.

I only really know about edible planting as we don't have a garden - The stuff at the top are the "special offers" that suttons keep trying to get me to put in my basket.

If I were you i'd fill up the borders with garlic as the flowers are delicious deep fried. Your mrs would be delighted to find a greasy flower masquerading as dinner when she's finished the dyson work :D

My wife actually makes a mean* sausage potato kale soup.

* - "mean", in this case = awesome

Somehow I'd rather be in Ende...ummm, the void...
On a more serious note, I'll have this kind of k... the thing I mean. Cavolo nero, pretty good when not in excess :)
