facebook's metaverse has all the hallmarks of every dystopian vr laden movie ever made. They're working on the parts that really matter first though, like corporate sponsors selling virtual products for real world money

This thread is still alive... I will outlast all of us. I haven't been on for a few months and this was the last thread I posted on before I got locked down without my computer, it was a nightmare, then I went played a couple of other games.

this location isn't entirely bad though. The "what's new" still puts it in with everything else so it's like nothing changed at all. It's not like the thread survives on new posters having to find it by just browsing the forums like plebes

we just can't say it's more popular than the entirety of odyssey combined anymore.

Back playing, but with limited time.

My casual job turned into a full time job, so time is limited these days.

Unlike some I don't do "ghost who posts" when not playing :)

But it very nice to come back here (and to the game) and not have to poke myself in the eye after reading a forum post (still facepalming at them tho). I have just been in a game that toxic takes on new levels, this forum could never hope to achieve.

Also steamrolling the works and sites of an artist who already was using the name Metaverse. Why try to buy the rights outright when you have the heft and power to just delete all their online accounts and work?

Odyssey got more popular :)

Yeah I saw it in Whats new and thought, it couldn't be the same thread. But it was... but I am not going back and reading the approx 2500 pages I missed (pretend I gave you all a like)
