State of the Game

"Mainly because it was such a divisive dinosaur at launch of JWE because of the fin direction it had."

Seriously, do we sound the same to outsiders of this game while we bicker about the painting on our ASP?

GAAARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just lost 6 hours of digital work because I did not save as I went along... poopy poo poo
That's terrible, my thoughts are with you. 🙏

I once surveyed and drew up a shop then, due to a series of unfortunate events, managed to both delete the electronic file and shred the hand drawn notes.
Luckily the shop was nearby so I spent a week of lunchbreaks redoing the measuring and drawing without alerting my boss.

(here's where I find out one of you lot is my boss using a pseudonym)

No worries, your boss isn't here.

But he pays not too bad for tips I heard...

Deinonychus i think...
Also known as "budget raptor" in the field of paleontology.

People complaining about accuracy in Jurrassic park are weird. I mean, I went to a paleonology/geology university. And the stuff in JWE is fantasist. It's ok, it's a game, not a scientific work.
Plus it's a constantly changing science. One day you have scaly lizard, the next they have feathers.

Quite funny to see them debate about a fin :D

But then we have endless debate on how the FSD or canopy should/shouldn't work.

Are you sure it is still profitable?
Kickstarter cash (only around £300,000) will be written off this year - Odyssey was in production for around 3 years with up to 130 developers (from Frontier's own financial statements) so has cost a few millions to develop... All of which has to be recovered to satisfy investors / shareholders, preferably showing a healthy profit. Unless the console version sales are huge, I doubt the development cost will be paid.
has a P/E of 50+ (existential scream)

The best coffee I have ever had was in a little French cafe in the Midi...
The worst coffee i ever had was in a training facility, the coffeemakers in the hallway had something called coffee, cocoa and soup. If someone pulled a soup or cocoa from the machine before you, you always got a leftover in your coffee. I will never forget that salty sweet mix of coffee and stock cube soup
