AND you don't get that sudden kick in the pants when it comes on the turbo and the cam at the same time and you're looking at Mr Farmer's field...There is always a bigger fish in this game.
There are some hardcore builds that make my granny a... slow granny.

I wanted a car that I can pack my family and baggage in
AND
win some drag races against mostly-stock Porsches on Autobahn on the way to holiday locations
AND
get there reliably.
If you know a thing about cars, you can notice something interesting on my dyno chart.
There is almost NO turbo lag, I fitted turbos with special bearings that spool from low rpms already.
This made my build a very special one, in contrast to 90% of custom turbo builds that are optimized towards peak power in high rpm,
I have a lot of elasticity, very high torque in middle rpm range already.
It's just pure fun, car reacts almost instantly when you push gas pedal, no need to reduce to lower gear every time when you want to accelerate quickly etc etc.
AND, what I just love - you hear turbos spooling and whistling BEFORE exhaust sound gets loud.
