I thought all elite related techno was contracted out to Aphex Twin. Hence the copies you see everywhere. It's a marketing deal.
Side note, i can't ethically post a good techno song because it's too hot for the forum. But you can find the official one on vimeo. It's just a baking video.

The feeling you get from this video is kinda what elite exploration should feel like like. as opposed to the reality. It's basically the last time as a player you will have passion for the game because if you go out exploring tens of thousands of lightyears away from the bubbles and experience this... all of that passion will die. Once you see the Void looking back at you, you cannot unsee it.
As was this (although, less professional music-video-ness in this one). Now if only Fdev had a fraction of the passion for the game as what the people who made these videos have for it... this thread wouldn't exist.
