State of the Game

Yeah, that's my general experience of Trammy too. It doesn't really stop or block my back pain (prolapsed disc) but instead reduces my concern about it... I've had spells when I've been on high doses for years...

The fun part is weaning yourself off of it again (which I've had to do several times). Thankfully I'm not strongly addicted to it. Smoking was harder to quit for me.
I assumed T. as pain killer should be a pain suppressor, not pain "rewrapper".
Anyway, it's good to know that I reacted to something in "normal" way.
-1 pt to my delusion of uniqueness though ;)

Sorry about ^^ but just made the mistake of looking round the forum, and it's like an echo-chamber of despair and end-of-the-world nihilism... 🤷‍♀️
No prob - just as an thought from my side: The moment the people start shutting up will be the moment the updates start getting less and less. And as to date there are relatively minor improvements on the things people complain about, they keep complaining.

And: That's some freaking ugly cat :)

yes! (also on this Omeprazole (proton pump inhib) )
They have messed with my meds recently, which may be why I am overposting, get annoyed with stuff I should not be... also onoy getting 3 hours sleep max..not fun

My daily regime...

3AM 2x50mg Tramadol capsules (I usually wake up from the pain)
~8AM 2x50mg Tramadol capsules (so I can get out of bed)
2PM 2x50mg Tramadol capsules (top up dose)
8PM 2x50mg Tramadol capsules (enough to get me asleep at around 10:30)

Some days I've had to 'double dose', that's fun when you are at work!

Edit : yes I did drive home after work... 😵‍💫

OK. I take everything I wrote about T back.
I compared my dosage (100mg delayed (because "ret..." word is censored 🤦‍♂️) release pill was enough for several hours)
and I must admit I have NO IDEA how T really works,
considering your experience.

Can't doctors like "fix" something in your back physically?
I mean, painkillers should be a temporary solution.

Damn.
44 yo and my last contact with doctors before today's COVid vacc was was after a physical injury like 8 years ago.
I feel lucky again.
Or more like the real "fun" is yet to come.

I had surgery a couple of years ago to 'lop off' a part of the L5 disc that was pressing into my spinal cord. It did help! Took about 2 years to settle back down to a 'mild nuisance'. Recently though I have been moving house .... BAD _ VERY BAD _ STUPENDOUSLY STUPID MOVE!!!
