The same helmet were not an issue for Clone troopers.

Come to think of it, we had that in Freelancer. You could also buy meat from pirate station, and you could sell it back to a "lawful" station. Meat wouldn't last forever, you had to be quick.

Perhaps it was Kumo Burger meat already ?
