So in the end they think of turning around both facts into something positive, if they change their development target back to the PC.

What they still didn't get though is the loss of hope for the future of the game - this has to be addressed with something better than that they will add some new content as well. For now it is not progress yet - because they shift attention from console version, which couldn't be completed anyway in time, back to the PC -that is all it really means - packed into some soothing words, but it doesn't mean much more yet.
