You went and posted a clip of Picard, which is almost worse than Brendan O'Carroll.
I just don't know about this place any more.
picard picking a "natural" lifespan in his android body just seemed to be a cop-out for explaining away his not too far off exit from the series. Picard as a character, being all into history and exploring and such.. i can't see him not picking the immortal route.

It's the only thing they got right because there was no way Picard would've wanted to be immortal.

they got a lot right, the series was interesting. But Picard already kinda has multiple lifetimes of memories. I dont think the idea of living forever would be that big of a jump for him. And i dont think he's ready to rest.
