State of VR in 3.3 Beta.

Using pimax 4k the lightning is better in VR the FPS seems to be the same but aliasing mostly noticeable when approaching rings around planets is horrible.
 
I wish FD could update their engine with more modern AA options like temporal AA and stuff like dynamic resolution scaling etc (Since there is such a huge difference between performance impact in various situations)

Hopefully cutting out 32bit lets them modernize some of the rendering tech.
 
Well as for jaggie's.

if you use the oculus tray tool or some such.
The beta version runs out of a different file path than regular game so your regular profile will not be applied.

For me that means seeing the beta in 1x instead of 1.3x.

They should have just made the FSS open in cockpit on a screen (same goes for the Gal / Sys maps). Surely it would be both the easiest to impliment (it would be in 2D so no 3D wierdness) and more immersive for the VR player, who under the current implimentation is being magically whipped out of the his/her cockpit with no real transition to speak of and placed in limbo.

As soon as I go into FSS mode everything looks bad in VR. It requires a lot of fixing with right and left eye matching correctly.
