Stop making unnecessary changes

Good evening, just for the record i have about 500 hours of gameplay in, I have been to colonia, i have turned in a type 9 of LTD's for almost 458 million credits, i have two cutters and federal corvette, i have engineered almost all of my ships. Now the game is boring, not because i have everything, but because the Devs decided they knew what was in everyone's best interest and that they should nerf everything while improving nothing. They nerfed basically all mining (theres no way to earn that same type 9 of LTD's i did two or three months ago), they nerfed all trade (the best trip ive made in the last 2 weeks was 18 million credits worth of turn around per trip in my cutter with 720 tons of cargo capacity whereas just a month ago i made 43 million per trip trading agronomic treatment, and finally they have done NOTHING to improve combat, no million credit bounties out the HAZRES and their missions are a crock of , half the time you cant find your target or they just flee which is super boring.
I would formally like to request a throwback old style version of the game, I NEVER PLAY ONLINE, EVERYTHING I HAVE DONE HAS BEEN IN SOLO PLAY. Why do i have to be affected by decisions made to inhibit others? I no longer have any interest in playing on a regular basis, after 6 months of playing now i suddenly make less than i ever have. Has my skill decreased, no, have i lost interest yes.
Please feel free to contact me directly at [REDACTED], Please Please Please Please change back (or at least give solo players the option to change back to the older version of game rules) otherwise you will start burning through your players.
Also if you want more players or more interest just add ships, no one cares about walking around on planets or shooting people in first person (if i wanted that i would play call of duty)... they just want more ships, and upgrades for their planetary vehicles and upgrades for their ships.
Why cant i have lightweight cargo racks? Why cant i have an expanded fuel tank on my rover? why is there ONLY ONE ROVER?
Get back to basics look to the original "Space Trader". Thats where it was at

They brought mining down to be inline with the other professions as well as boosting the professions that haven't seen the light of day since, well, EVER. I think you can handle making still a good amount of credits instead of all the credits.

Skimming your post I saw this, and immediately your words lost all credibility. You are so demonstrably wrong. And your attitude kinda sucks too, so goodbye and keep your stuff, because I don't want it.

You are wrong.

You always play online Solo is an online mode just like all the others using the same galaxy just all the other players are filtered out, though what they do to PP and BGS affects you as it is all one galaxy.

You're not speaking for everyone, I hope, although I bought the game to try something new, I picked it up again for Odyssey, I have no interest in dogfighting (chasing my tail till i throw up kind of) games.

Well, apart from all the countless forum posts over the past few years demanding to know if and when space legs would be implemented...

Space legs or FPS?? So far everything points to FPS that not many here actually want..
It would be pretty naive to assume that an implementation of walking around on planets wouldn't involve some form of combat, much like driving around in the SRV also involves some combat. And ED is predominantly from a first-person perspective.

I agree. However, most here was hoping for different content. FPS is not that. As far as I can see from many posts in this very forum and also other sources ppl are not that keen on FPS as there are way better titles for this type of game (my personal is HALO). ED FPS does not sound good however you would pronounce that...

I agree. Making what looks to be a fairly generic FPS is not very imaginative and certainly not what I would have wanted FDev to focus on before other features. I'm far more interested in being able to land on and explore atmospheric planets. And I'd prefer FDev to flesh out existing features before adding another half-baked one.

But a lot of people did seem very keen on FDev prioritizing and implementing some form of space legs! Perhaps Odyssey will exceed my expectations but I'm not massively hopeful!

I'm guessing you didn't watch all of the Dev Diaries then? So let me recap... One of them was about the sphere of combat, the others weren't. In fact there were three different suit types mentioned - one of those three was for combat. So to be more accurate, about one-third of everything points to FPS, whereas two-thirds point to other activities.

If it's as good as Powerplay and multicrew we have nothing to worry about

They have significantly increased the profitability of combat. Realizing the maximum potential of it really is not difficult.

A mining nerf was needed, and while the balance pass after it did some good, it also created more problems, did not cover nearly enough, and has apparently been abandoned.

While I agree the overall state of credits in the game is in a bad spot, return to the glory days of ludicrous mining profits is not the solution.
