Every time I think the community will wake up and finally not let themselves get insulted and treated like that from FDev with utter low quality, I still see someone defend them and posting picard facepalms.

Shame it is still only a small part of the community, one would have thought that with such an issue many more would have taken the time to log back in and make their protest of it, as far as I see here the numbers are still pitifully low.

Maybe the actual majority just isn't that bothered...

Isn't the store icon supposed to be part of the game world? Like the adverts for Lavian Brandy or whatever. I didn't think ship skins were supposed to be some fourth wall breaking thing, but rather something that exists in the universe, visible (and purchasable) by anyone.

Sure - the game world is amber, so to fit in it should be amber, not blue. And it's the Livery Store - so call it Livery - like we have a Ship Store called teh Shipyard (not blue), a Module Store called Outfitting (not blue). Etc.

(Side note: It will actually make sense once we have Space Legs - having a store we can go to for Livery items. And they can make that as garish as they like - because that's what shops do.)

Advertisement is generally garish and eye catching, hence the blue icon. But yep I think the livery and store should be folded together. No reason I can think of that purchasing and equipping need to be in separate menus.

I don't mind FD making the store overly obvious. If it is bringing them money, ED will continue to be developed.

As long as the store is for livery and not gameplay...
