SUIT SCHEMATICS need more love!

Right. Naturally, the suit schematics reward is not the reward of every combat mission but, I have found plenty. At least one SS reward mission in the list of missions for the places I have visited. Try the Chuvaleni system - this is a dual Infrastructure Failure and Civil Unrest system. Go to Yegrov Dock. Plenty to be found and they continue if you do the missions.

The most productive one is the CMD that has the PWR in the back (access to PWR can be done only through CMD). At top floor there it bigger room containing a table with 3x settlement defences consoles and in the middle there is a large locker that can have 1-6 schematics. With my bad luck i would get 0-2 suit schematics, rest being vehicle, building, weapon schematics (most often i get 0-1, very very rare to get 2 suit schematics.)

Most of the time the Suit Schematics reward is not there tho and it's replaces by some useless data rewards or no materials at all...

Hah! The one I have is a dud. 😛

The amount of blind excuses that some Frontier's mess devoted defenders try to find in order to justify even the most damning aspects of this broken and endless grinding beta never ceases to amazing me...

What never cease to amaze me are people that fail to move to other games when they stop enjoying Elite and keep wasting their time haunting the forums 😵

why do suit and weapon schematics share spawn points with "building and ship schematics" wich are not used for anything?

I think new SRVs will come first, to use vehicle schematics. We should see cargo, mining, military SRV. :)
By the way, I have 13 suit schematics which I don't need just now, 'cause I engineered 5 suits to G5 (2 mavs, 2 domis, 1 art) so, I would like to exchange them for
some data.

It’s a good idea unfortunately it’s also a griefer troll opportunity. Not worth taking the chance, hence the slow uptake.

I have to disagree here - until now I had 7 - 8 exchanges and it was always very positive experience. To meet other cmdrs, to meet real people is very different thing than interactions with NPCs. And it's for mutual benefit. If somebody will come to kill me - ok, not a big thing, I will lose materials which I don't need. But people will write about troll in the forums, and
he/she will be excluded from future trades. At least, it's always possible to meet and make trades in Private Group mode.

Raid 2 adjunction IND site back and forth with APEX, until they go hostile. I got totally 8 suits fully upgraded in 20 days.
This also works for weapon schematic.

The only price to pay is in patch 6 you will get notoriety 10 in 1 hour lol, but that wont impact u much. As long as you travel with APEX, no one shot you.

I was doing Missions yesterday to get Suit Schematics for my Suit upgrade, managed to get 4 in one session - which was quite good for me as I don't really do pewpew & I'm bad at it.

I actually found that taking a Salvage Mission were the item to collect is the Suit Schematic & then aborting said Mission once it's collected, still retains that Schematic in the Inventory.
Downside to this, though not me personally, is the 100k credit fine for abandoning each Mission....but Hey! I got another Suit Schematic:)

Out of the four I got yesterday, three were done this way & the fourth was clearing personel from a settlement, which I found a lot easier by killing all the Commando's with my Ship missiles before entering with my Plasma Shotgun & Pistol to clear out the workers...........that's about my level with footy pewpew - fighting someone with less firepower than you ;)

My only complaints here is that you pick up far too much crap, that can't be used to barter with the barkeep for the things you need........they only barter with stuff that you need for some other upgrade later🤷‍♂️
