The following gave 12 points. Mapped the ew:s and elws. One rocky body (or other) as well. One of the three aw:s was already discovered and mapped. Otherwise as good as everything else (with a few exceptions) is first discoveries.

So it's been a day and a half and not yet at tier 1. At this rate, we'll definitely hit tier two and very likely tier 3 since things really ramp up on the weekend. Tier 4 is going to be a serious stretch and tier 5 will be completely out of reach. Unless there are people out in the black holding onto huge data dumps. Personally, I'd avoid that due to the potential for loss and not being able to regularly gauge your own progress.

Not out in the black so much as "have returned to the bubble and plan to sell a huge data dump + whatever AWs I can find by Wednesday" : )
Well good luck with that. While I was at the station, some guy came in having just come back from beagle and was certain he'd be in the top 10. He sold a couple hundred million in data and got... Wait for it... 39 reports... Enough for top 50%. Needless to say, he was disappointed. He thought for sure he had mapped more ammonia planets.

I'd sell your data in chunks to gauge your progress.

Ok I'm still at 0 and I know I've turned in Amonia world data of every variety.

OK, lets see it step by step.

1. You must register. First sign up on any stations or outpost what has a mission board (top grey row).
2. Charts with Ammonia Worlds only counts on Betancourt Base in Coalsack. Nowhere in other locations. Sell at Betancourt UC strictly.
3. You must do a minimum scan with FSS or make a flyby to make 1 point. Honk is not enough (stays on "unexplored")
4. Only Ammonia Worlds counts. No other bodies/planets with ammonia atmosphere - dont listen to other disturbing rumours.
5. Check your contribution at Betancourt Mission Boards. Your Panel 1 - Transactions Tab ship onboard is in latency compared to.

Thank you Kryxix for the detailed steps. I've followed every single one of those steps. I've fully mapped the planet with surface scanner and FSS, done planets with just ammonia and ammonia planets. Still getting screwed. Turning it in at Betancourt at PJ-P B6-1. This CG is really becoming disheartening.

I've also made sure to check progress at the mission board (since the left one doesn't always update until you do).

Imagine being loaded full with AWs on Wednesday and... smashed to dust by one of those rotating station poles before docking.
Just saying
Yes, i'll be back Wednesday evening for a game of croquet! :D (y)

I think this CG is going to be hard to make predictions about.
How many are staying out exploring until the last minute?
What if folk start cashing in Tuesday?
Mad rush back?
And if that happens, will some people find themselves stuck with mega loads of AW data and find they're out of the CG?
I like it, roll the bones!:devilish:

Also: Reward for information regarding 500 missing Occupied Escape Pods. Believed to be on route to Colonia. One Kumo Burger voucher per escape pod recovered. 🍔 🍔🍔

Well they should get a decent return for the data if the CG finishes well.

Can you take a screenshot of what you're handing in?

I don't get this CG, I know I turned in at least one full scan of an Amonia atmosphere planet to the station in question and I am still at 0. I just use the cartographer right?
I signed up for the CG, scanned, using the FSS to spot the Ammonia world, then went and mapped it. Went to the CG station and sold the data to Universal Cartographics, saw that several scans were within 20Ly so couldn't be sold, but gained 39 points for the ones I did sell.

In addition, there are ammonia worlds without a trace of ammonia in their atmospheres. I submitted this as a bug to FDev last year, haven't heard anything indicating this will be fixed.
Part way terraformed, Sirius getting in practise before the procedure got its safety license maybe.

I seem to be getting much bigger UC payouts than I the sales screen suggests -- is that supposed to be happening?! I admit I've just farmed eddb.io ammonia worlds so far, but it's proving fairly lucrative. Looks like 4x more in the bank than the UC screen suggests?
