System Requirements and PC Graphics Settings Revealed

Gave one of our newest builds a run today, just to give you a little perspective... My GTX1080ti utilization was at 40-45% with vSync turned on (vSync turned off isn't a good idea - my room became a sauna (among other things)), with everything in the game settings at maximum. FPS was a silky smooth 60 fps in 1920x1080 resolution. However, the CPU side of things... my AMD Threadripper 1950x absolutely ate whatever JWE threw at it for breakfast, and used no more than 10% CPU at any given time.

That should give you and other folks a decent benchmark on the game's upper end of things.

Meeeeh. Tell about the real deal !! UHD + maxed out settings = ? FPS. Does the 1080 ti hit the 60 fps or even more?
If it does...i just need to go shopping i think.

Will my GeForce GTX 970 be able to run the game fine (I don`t need it to run on maximum settings? My other specs are 16 GB RAM and Intel i7 4790k 3,60 GHz.
I can tell you that the GTX 970 is still a good GPU. I have it and had no problem at all with Assassins Creed Origins. Played it on almost the highest settings with 60 FPS.

Your system exceeds the recommended settings.

I compared benchmark between the recommended CPU for the game with my CPU and it rated lower performance.

This is the reason I asked if the game would be exploiting more ressources on the CPU or the GPU since my CPU seems to be slightly weaker than the recommended specs.

On a side note my CPU is overclocked on 3.50GHz so maybe it reaches the recommended requirements.

You will surely be able to run the game on high settings.

I have another question. How will the RAM influence fluent gaming? I have 8gb and could get another 8 for 50€ but it would be nice to know if it is worth it.

I would still appreciate if you or anyone could provide insight on the game resource uses.
Will it rely more on the CPU or the GPU to render the game?

When i turn off vSync, the GPU utilization will cap out at 100% and the FPS in game for me are just shy of 200 FPS reported.

When i get the chance to, will set the nvidia control panel to have the 4k resolutions.

Thanks !! :) Thinking about going nuts and use DSR function and get from 3440x1440 to insane 6880x2880 :D (cuz..what is better then pixels...EVEN G MORE PIXELS !)

correct me if I'm wrong, but this game has similar minimun requirements to the ones Prehistoric Kingdom has. According to the page "Can You run It?" my PC wouldn't even be able to run Prehistoric Kingdom but I've played it with the highest settings and I haven't experienced lag or any other issues. Same happens when I check if I can run Jurassic WEorld Evolution, it says that my PC can't run it but I hope I can play it just like PK. Why does this happen?

I was just wondering, for this game does it really require 60fps? Because you know, for some games like battlefield or what not it is a necessity but as it is a sim surely it will be fine locked at 30 right?

Top down game are less impacted by low frame rate.
It might even be preferable to run Vsync if your games runs with high FPS fluctuations as it could cause screen tearing.

30 FPS should be fine depending on your monitor refresh rate. I know that for me 30FPS on a 120Hz monitors feels terrible.
If your monitor is 60Hz you shouldn't see too much difference depending of the perspective.
Top down should look smooth, from a vehicle perspective it could feel slightly grainy but clearly not as bad as if you had a 120Hz monitor.

Don't know if this has been posted yet but here is the Steam recommended requirements.

Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 7 (SP1+) / 8.1/10 64bit
Processor: Intel i7-4770/AMD FX-8350
Memory: 12 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 / AMD RX 480
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 12 GB available space

It says the AMD alternative is an RX 480 which is about the equivalent to a R9 390 which is what I have. I believe the RX 480 performs about the same as my GPU does. I will have to watch some videos on it though.

No, 60 fps is less important here. It's nice to have but not necessary like it is in a FPS.

I have a 1920x1080 Freesync gaming monitor with a 75Hz refresh rate but it has other options and I use 60 since 75 makes my GPU noisy in some games. I play Planet coaster at 30 fps and don't notice that much of a difference after playing it for a few minutes. I use MSI/Riva Tuner to lock Planet Coast at 30 fps cause it makes my GPU get a bit noisy. It's quitter with 30.

Nice to see an MSI bro! I'm glad to hear that you are not inconvenienced by your FPS rate, 30 on a 75Hz screen sounds reasonable when playing a top down game.
I haven't played a top down game in a while so my last experience playing at a low frame rate on my pc was really bad.
I never got to play at 30FPS. The lowest I ever reached was around 40-50 and it was a horrible experience in an FirstPersonShooter game.

What can I expect with an i7 6700HQ and a GTX 1060 6GB? It seems my CPU is the only thing that's below recommended
