T-10 Mining?

Yeah, there's certainly scope for modification.
Swap out one big collector for another cargo rack or, alternatively, swap out one of the C5 collectors for a fuel scoop etc.

I never have more than 256t cargo capacity in my mining ships so I can always transfer the cargo to a Python and take it to a platform if required and an hour of mining, in one go, is about all I can stand.

That why I always use Python. I have the same Build at the nearest base for Ores. But it heavy-armed. The only change is. Instead of Mining equipment, it has weapons and a fuel scoop.

T10 is too slow for core mining, but for the other types of mining i'm sure it's fantastic.

For DC mining out side view matters yep as you use the external view with the rock scanner. For laser mining na most of the time Im holding the fire button and looking at the tablet instead...

I was thinking of switching to Painite mining next time, just to see how I would like it, but this post made reconsider

T10 looks magnificent with that spoiler and the array of engines, so it takes great selfies.

Cutter has better basking value, however.

Laser mining is not interactive at all once the rock is found, as soon as you find a rock you are just waiting for the automatic items to spit out and be collected...
"The monkey flicks the switch" (hold the button as the hotas 4 does not have a toggle switch) and they are spat out from the rock and collectors collect...
This is what people did for years till DC came along... once the rock is depleted you fire of another 2 prospectors 1 will likey hit a high % painite rock and the other won't...
Now wait or the the remainig collectors and then boost to next rock and repeat... for 1 or 2 hours... brilliant for talking to people over PSN chat or skype...
Youll learn to do it on with out even being focused on the game...

T10s look better when they explode than a cutter as well...
Even more when they try to hyper jump with damaged power plant and fail the jump and pop...
