Edit: EDSY has now added the new drives!

EDSY doesn't appear to have added the new drives yet, but you can effectively simulate them there as follows:
  1. click on Help, select Experimental Mode (about halfway down the Help page)
  2. back in Shipyard choose your ship
  3. place an A-rated SCO of the proper size in your FSD slot
  4. over on the right, set Optimised Mass so that it shows a 70% gain (don't need to add a blueprint)
  5. add the experimental (e.g. mass manager), build your ship, and gasp at the jump range

The numbers for setting a +70% optimised mass depend on FSD class:

Class 2170.0
Class 3283.9
Class 4994.3
Class 51997.0
Class 63399.0
Class 75099.0

Just type or paste the number in and hit <enter>

So where can one find Titan Drive Components and Propulsion Elements if we have not been engaging with the Titans?

Have to scout around Titan debris sites (use the Thargoid War part of galaxy map and visit any of the "(DESTROYED)" Titans.

Propulsion Element materials aren't too bad, but Drive Components are not common, also they are corrosive cargo. Long range sensors, collector limpets, and a corrosion proof cargo rack in a cool ship are advised. Fly around anywhere within 10-15km or so of the location marker and keep monitoring the contacts section of your left-hand panel would be my advice.

You can pick up other stuff there like Thargoid Hearts and Meta Alloys. Some other things may not be good to pick up in case visiting goids start chasing you.

(Edit: unbearable typoos)

The Mandalay shaded it before, but now both ships are well beyond the old 6A v1 FSD record of 366LY. 397.52LY should be possible for a stripped-down Mandalay and some conveniently placed stars.

It's a darn good time to be into ships with long legs, hey. Frontier getting some solid wins this year. First time I've been genuinely excited about ED in a (very) long time. Shows what is possible when the team is basically allowed to cook. We're eating real good.

Having a cool ship can help with not being annoyed by the Thargoid Interceptors that pop up to police the wreckage. Yesterday I spent an hour scavenging found 2 Titan Drive Units, though word of advice dont read the forums whilst trying to scoop up a drive unit. They dont like being rammed.

Also the drive units are classed as cargo so dont farm more than you use/store in a Fleet Carrier/sell
