The people I work with were asking me what I was reading, and then they too, had tears in their eyes.

I think it would be awesome if Frontier made a new Decal, perhaps in the shape of a heart, with her initials inside. Maybe it would be available to all, or maybe just to you.

If I might ask her name? I would like to name one of my ships after her, if you would be ok with that.

I am so very sorry to hear your news.

You never get over such a bereavement, you just learn to live with it.

But it takes a while. In the mean time allow yourself to be happy sad quiet loud energetic busy idle hot cold slow fast dull bright.... and so on.

Take time to take care of yourself too.

Thomas, others have said it better than I ever could. You have my deepest sympathies.

Try to live one day at a time and find solace wherever you can. Consider planting a beautiful flowering tree, in her memory, together with your wife and family. The tree will live and grow, as she deserved to. That's what my family did, when we lost my cousin, far too young.

So difficult to respond to this.... I am a parent and can only begin to imagine what it must be like. Take solace from those around you be strong, take care of yourself and your wife. My thoughts are with you both.

My six month old daughter unexpectedly passed away in her sleep at daycare a month ago. Obviously my wife and I are completely crushed. In an effort to try and distract myself, I downloaded Elite onto my PS4 and fired it up. It has done more for me in dealing with my grief than I can really explain. It’s been just enough to distract me, yet engage me enough to think over my grief and try to work through it. Doing exploring missions is relaxing and soothing, which is what I’ve really needed lately. I’m tearing up right now just thinking about it.
Thanks again for all your work. You never know when you begin a project, how it will impact people down the line one day, and yours has done more than I could ever thank you for. Thank you so much.

Sorry to hear about yer loss...as a single father, me daughter is me world...already lost her mum when she was a bairn, so I understand well the pain of loss.
