It probably helps that some of said work is quite wildly lucrative, as well as providing ideal testing grounds for new toys like SCO and the Python 2.
Nose art is like the paintings on old ww2 planes.I am unsure exactly what you mean with nose art, but does this video suffice? I made it to show bit-by-bit what occurs at a Spire site!
We do get to try out the new toys a bit. Probably gave the activity a bit of extended life.I have to say, I'm surprised at how motivated players remain to continue the Titan work despite it being the fourth with (so far) no real changes to the procedure, and no particular narrative updates worth mentioning to go alongside it (beside the SCO drive but with Sirius remaining dead silent on the subject after their monopoly got thoroughly wrecked and pounded on top of, it's mostly just gameplay relevant).
I suppose Hadad will be a good candidate for SCO shenanigans. A Python MKII could cross that distance fairly quickly I reckon… without issues, that is. Using an A rated drive on my explorer Phantom can only do 20+k ls without shutting it off if I use a heatsink. Not that there’s anything wrong with it.We do get to try out the new toys a bit. Solo spire activity is a bit frustrating. I either turn up to kill Orthrus with Sirius missiles at which point the scouts numbers build up and I'm not equipped to clear them, or I add an AX multicannon and it is likely any Orthrus will get away. I winged up with another CMDR yesterday and it was much more enjoyable. Later on a large group of CMDRs were present and people can specialise - I took scout duty. Looking at ED Discovery I got 14 Orthrus, 5 Cyclops and 179 scouts over the day. The previous day I tagged a basilisk and medusa but these are much rarer to find. AX missiles are surprisingly good at interceptor exertion when I manage to hit with them - harder if they are are not targeting me as movement is less predictableBut that’s just me and saying things. You have fun with it and that’s, I guess, good.
If I was interested in spire smashing, I'd offer up, because I don't mind flying the Krait with 4 AXMCs on the alt every now and then. But, well...Much easier in a group, though open can be frustrating in its own way if everyone brought a solo Orthrus build and you can't see for Scouts![]()
I'm sure they'll stick around until there's at least two left. Would also definitely like it if they actually responded unless they make some weird lore twist out of it. shrugsI'd like to see if the remaining titans stick around and if the Thargoids have anything more up their sleeves.
I gave it a try, fitted a Python 2 with Sirius missiles and went Titan bombing at Hadad. A few seconds in SCO is enough to get you there and it works very well. Getting round the Titan was also smooth and fast.I suppose Hadad will be a good candidate for SCO shenanigans. The other thing we tried was two of us in a wing at a spire site, one killing Banshees and Revenants and the other killing the Scouts, we left the Orthruses alone and focused on Scouts and Banshees. Basically testing the idea Aleks had to focus on them and see how easy that was.Orthrus massacres at spires don’t really get my attention and good as they look visually, I never got drawn into their playground for combat activities. While I just don’t attack Titans, either.

Similar experience on the one shake down run I did after a round of engineering.I gave it a try, fitted a Python 2 with Sirius missiles and went Titan bombing at Hadad. A few seconds in SCO is enough to get you there and it works very well. Getting round the Titan was also smooth and fast.

Two people is perfect for it.
It's a compromise with a low emissions build, I used 4 Sirius class 2 missiles instead of the class 3s I wanted but the only difference is ammo, not damage. Definitely a hit and run ship though, compared to the Krait which can at least tank a bit of damage. Python 2 is a shield tank so if it hangs around it's basically dead.I figured the P2's hardpoint configuration and maneuverability would make it a decent Titan bomber. Not sure how it'll last in the later stages when everything gets super aggressive though, my usual Krait has twice as much hull!
If they're available they should pop up on Rescue ship Foerster at Xinca. Look for the Hip 30439 system at the bottom of the list.I wanted to try a spire sabotage mission. Are there any available for Hadad and where would I find them?
The remaining spires at Taranis don't seem to do anything.Indeed everything is now done for the week at M. Hadad! For now it would be as well to ready Titan vessels with A-rated Supercruise Overcharge if one has at most the C-rated after T. Oya, perhaps building a Python 2 for it, test the journey at HIP 30377 and secure your two million Credits against the core. Some eager Commanders have damaged the first ring by a few points already!
The first upcoming unknown factor is whether the Spire site at HIP 30439 affects the Titan somehow, but thus far it appears not, and there is nothing to be done for now even if it does. Assuming the Titan assault has no problems, my suggestion is to leave those last two systems so that they survive week 78, then examine later what becomes of the Spire site and whether it still affects Col 285 Sector US-Z b14-4. I can imagine Commanders wanting to keep a live Spire site for as long as it lasts, and equally I can imagine Commanders wanting the hazard removed, either of which seem quite fine!
