I'm trying not to read too much into it, but I have the day off and it's fun. I definitely think the implied motion is outwards rather than inwards. It almost reads plausibly as a recap - if the Titan spirals are heading inwards rather than outwards, it could read as "we sent 8 Titans to the centre of human population expansion"
If I'm right and the chart is showing human generational reproduction, then a benign reading of it would be...
Maybe it's trying to illustrate Thargoid reproduction. That they grow by increasing in size, not by multiplication, and spread outwards
I'll just say that my malign interpretation is that this is going to be the signal that activates the Pod People, the 'Children of the Thargoids'.
EDIT: No, with the swirly lines indicating travel/journey those are Titans, so more specifically, 'Children of the Titans'.
Amusingly, since I took the huff at the Titan HP raising I've been picking the bones of Taranis for the last couple of days trying out different builds, and had noticed the noises there. I was expecting that there might be a change in the noise after Cocijo was destroyed. I'm just not one of the chaps that thinks to visually process these things! If it’s meant to represent reproduction, that could have another meaning. But the “preservation” theory is one that seems less plausible even though I’ve been keeping it in the back of my head for a while.
I guess we know what else this most recent Thursday maintenance added, however. I would not have figured to go to a debris field, or have gone poking into one… (no real reason to)
The obvious thing from a Cannon Science stand point would be to check that the noises at all Titans actually match, and we don't have 7 different clues to be looking at.
