First of all, thank you for your incredible work on Elite Dangerous. The vastness, depth, and atmosphere of the game have captivated me from the very beginning. What drew me in most strongly was the mystery surrounding the Thargoids – their design, presence, and the unfolding story are truly fascinating.
Although I’ve only been playing for a few months, I quickly began writing in-game logs and building a personal roleplay narrative. My character is written as a Thargoid in human form – observing, studying, and subtly interacting with humanity. This concept has grown into a rich, ongoing project for me, and your storytelling has made it feel alive.
With that in mind, I’d like to share a small but heartfelt idea:
What if, under very specific and secret conditions, players could support or join the Thargoids? Imagine being able to unlock Thargoid modules, or in some extremely rare (and discreet) cases, even pilot a Thargoid ship. A hidden path, perhaps triggered by obscure lore clues or roleplay alignment, could create unforgettable moments.
Even more intriguing: what if a select few players were quietly given such ships and allowed to appear unexpectedly in the bubble – not in a public event, but as part of a living mystery? It could confuse, excite, and inspire the player base, fueling new theories and breathing life back into the community. Just the possibility of such a thing would be thrilling to many.
Personally, I would be honored – and more than ready – to be part of something like this, should you ever consider it. Of course, I understand the complexity behind such decisions, but I wanted to express the idea all the same.
If of interest, I’d be more than happy to share parts of my ongoing story with you – it would mean a lot to me to know that the team behind this universe is aware of the creativity it inspires.
