People will demand Thargoids... right up until they are ripped out of warp into witch space and get just enough time to spoil their underwear and glimps a few Octagonal war ships ginting in the near perfect black before they are dead and have a 10 million insurance bill. Then they might think again :)

This could very well lead credence to a potential sighting of them in super cruise. I say this because they stated they had a ship pass them by and beyond extreme speeds in super cruise then vanish. Far enough out that typical NPC's are not present at all. Now I want to go out into the void even more. Might not be able to hold myself back if I keep seeing things like this lol.

Probably what David hinted at to be honest. I mean, they would probably have told us if they had decided to "postpone" the encounters.

Who knows, has anyone gone past Polaris? That was the place where the Thargoids were encountered in the old game, I think it was sort of like a forward operating base for them....

That means Thargoid space is technically further away than Polaris (Correct me if I'm wrong aha).

Yeah I remember DB saying, Thargoids will be in the game, 'if we can find them'. This all could be a ruse of course. It seems to have a lot of people scratching their heads.

It wouldn't surprise me if we could find some hints perhaps.

Check this picture from another thread, could they be here? But again it's a permit locked system so we wouldn't be able to see (what about the surrounding stars?).
