Sorry, how am I supposed to hold the galaxy map to see this in game? I'm not seeing a trail leading away like this, and it goes against everything we know about the milky. Or is this not to scale?

no no I'm just joking, Frontier let you the time you need for that. I like the quality of things in ED. quality has it's price and time. better wait for qualitative Thargoids, then stupid color goblins dancing around my ship

Thargoids are in the initial release, but only as encounters, we'll be doing something far more with them in a future release.

Many hundreds of hours of gameplay and I have yet to make or even here of one single Thargoid encounter....
