Really 16% increase, with the exchange rate I get through my bank I actually save 3%. Must suck to be you lol

I bought the Krait Phantom Salvage paint pack pre-ARX.

I only have one Krait Phantom, so I only actually use one of the paints from it.

I could have got that cheaper separately with ARX ... and since I bought cosmetics rarely pre-ARX and am patient, I would actually have got it for free after those six weeks (instead, since I already had the paint, I got a free nameplate for it after six weeks)

So, works absolutely fine for me, will probably never need to spend a real-life penny on cosmetics again, but "previously bought one or two cosmetics a year, will now get three or four free cosmetics a year" probably isn't the primary audience for this stuff.

When Arx first rolled out i ended up with a couple hundred Arx extra somehow so when that Onionhead Corvette paintjob came out i got that free. Tho I didn't unlock the Corvette until last night lol heading to the IX system to get it 17.5% off. If anyone is planing on buying a ton of prismatic shields 🛡 use Inara to find that 1 station you can buy all of them for that same 17.5 % if your Elite that is.

Arx for me:
Pros:
- Free Arx gives me free stuff..
-Buying Arx bundles saves me money on exchange and international transaction fees.
- The free Arx also mitigate any of the apparent price increases.

Cons:

• Not available in AU$.
• Pack size/cost doesn't always match my budget.

Conclusion:
Well, for me, it seems Arx is a positive. I'm more inclined to buy a bundle of Arx and then 'buy' various things with them than I am to buy those items via an individual CC transaction, which means more money for FDev. Ease of use and reduced costs are a winner for me.

Given the arbitrary values involved, vs the decimal currencies Arx replaced, this is literally switching from decimal currency to nondecimal currency.
