The Buckyball Racing Club Presents: Close Encounters of the Bucky Kind (Swift-16 Championship, Race 8)

Have you guys held a race around a spire site yet?
Flying around in an unarmed fast Mamba is a lot of fun dodging the flack!

And, in Buckyball terms, a Mamba isn't "fast". Midling to good, maybe. If you want "fast", you can trigger a heated discussion between the disciples of the (i)Eagle and the followers of the Viper Mk.III. A Mamba is just about as fast as a Hauler (better base speed, lower boost) and slower than a Sidewinder.

Although I'm forced to admit - the Mamba looks nice and has a good cockpit view.

It's a little known fact (maybe not exactly a fact) that they based the Mamba on a Lazlar Lyricon.

True my Mamba only boosts 620 ish but wasn't built for racing its a Titan/spire scout which i just ended up racing around the spires for a laugh.
My Courier does 885ish if i remember but not anywhere near what you folks achieve :ROFLMAO:
I just imagined a race around that site, dodging the scouts etc like a Star Wars pod race.
