Hmmm this is vexing. I'm thinking Keyed Caesar with a key of 'remember' but am returning nothing, or with any of the other keys I can think of.

So I gather. But then is it a Keyed Caesar? I could try every 6 letter 'word' possible and come up with nothing if the cypher used is wrong.
I can only surmise that the original plea for assistance is not genuine; open collaboration is not wanted nor desired by the OP.

I can see why people might think like that, however I can also see it as a challenge. There is a external page with this same information here:
http://darkwheelelites.com/2015/06/19/seeking-help-solving-a-particular-mystery/

It contains the additional line 'Contact us using the encoded instructions above if you have what it takes to assist.' So it is a test. Do you have the smarts to decode the message?

Well... eh... no, not yet. I've been using this site to try and crack it but so far have made little progress.

I'll be the first to admit that I gave it a shot and came up short (also using rumkin.com). Still I'm at the Formidine Rift, because: "Oh my god, it's full of stars" :)

Nope, not really helpful.

I consider this an evil ploy to get me on Facebook. It will not work, James.

Btw, still in the Rift, will look for the structure.

Edit: When I find it, I'll setup a souvenir shop/bar, expecting a lot of Cmdrs dropping by, will be rich, yes, yes, yes!

Note to self: hire Anuranium for security and occasional gardening...

Good tip, actually headed there now, although gal map refuses to give anything useful for "35" ;-)
Just want to point out that those numbers are waypoints for crossing the Formidine Rift 'northwest passage'. The DW borrowed the map (map-09) from the galactic mapping project just to highlight the region they're currently focused on as it shows where the Formidine Rift is (or so its thought). The actual points of interest on the map are probably inconsequential to whatever the DW are up to as those POIs are the product of many different explorers work (going back months).

Thanks for the explanation, Erimus. Finding anything remotely interesting in regards to Lore will most likely be dumb luck, nothing more :)

Still, think it'll be fun to cross the passage and wave to Sol from other side.

If you're out that way, be sure to check out the Alluring Siren (point #6 on the map). There's a water world there with something mysterious in the ring system that orbits it...

Or it could just be a bit of fan fiction ;)

I have to say the fact that you need to make this up makes me a little bit sad. :(
I thought the UA's where a great bit of content when we first learned about them. They looked menacing, and sounded mysterious and foreboding.

As time went on all people wanted to do was record the sound, shoot them, or hoard them. I thought it was a missed opportunity for the community to build some fan-based fiction around the first real bit of alien content we had.

Everything became a bit too clinical for my liking and no stories were being born out of that whole episode. It just became a frenzy to solve all its mysteries as quickly as possible, and grab the next clue, rinse and repeat.

So that's why a made my own little bit of fiction around them, and wove them into my own personal theory about what they were (which I posted in the Formidine Rift thread). It turned out to be a wrong theory of course, but the idea was to put a story behind it instead of just throwing it out there amongst a hundred others that were doing the rounds at the time.

The really sad thing is, there isn't much content of this kind in the game to keep making story-based videos now. Youtube is saturated with combat and exploration videos, and there's only so much you can do with them to keep them interesting.

The UA item was unique and deserved a bit of fan fiction to go alongside the real mystery that's behind them, this was my attempt to do just that. The final part (Part 5) is 90% finished but I don't really have the motivation to finish it off at the moment, and the bit of content I needed to do it will probably not be seen until 1.4 or 1.5 is released (I'd hoped 1.3 would have seen the galaxy fleshed out with new stuff to discover, but so far its not looking likely).
