The Elite Explorers Hall of Fame

WOW!!! CONGRATS CMDR RAZ!!! WELL DESERVED!! VERY NICE ACCOMPLISHMENT!! REPPED!

Thank you, sir :) Promised myself I'd take a little break from exploration after Sag A*, need to see some of the other things the game has to offer - but I am nowhere near done with that aspect of the game, and probably never will be :) So much to see still!

EDIT: And as I will be moth-balling my DBE, I think I will have to update my ship profile ;)

Off to see Founder's before bed, I think :D

A great big thanks to the forum community, without you guys I wouldn't have made, and I certainly wouldn't have stayed sane (relatively speaking...) during those long trips out in the black!

EDIT: details of my Sag A* pilgrimage to follow soon!

Spectacular CMDR! Well done sincerely😀

Cmdr Gramps: Got mine today, 21 Aug after getting back from a trip to Sagittarius A, didn't see the promotion mail could be because I re-logged towards the end of selling my data, anyway here's the snapshot of my stats after selling my data.

Well done Gramps. I have added you to the list. I see that you are a true omnivore....scanning everything. That has to be one of the lowest systems visited to get to elite.

I think that achievement includes a healthy dose of Neutron Star / Black Hole 'farming', as the amount of detailed scans is so low.

ELW - 19
WW - 178 (94 terrerformable)
Water Giants - 4
Ammonia Worlds 15
Neutron Stars - 213
Black Holes - 123
White Dwarfs - 39
Plus a countless number of Gas giants and Metal planets. Low value time consuming stuff it may be but I just couldn't find a good enough excuse for leaving them behind.

Ah, so you have not been really 'farming' BHs/NSs. Sorry for the "accusation".

It's just that I have over 18000 Level 3 scans registered, with only 90 million Cr exploration profits (granted, I was exploring way before the doubling of rewards). Looks like you have scanned way more Class II Gas Giants, Metal-rich Planets and terraformable HMC planets than me then. And gotten more 1st discoveries too. :)

No offence taken - I was out 26 days and I did try some Neutron farming but found it toooo boring, no more than 20 at a time and I was back into the F,K and G star systems, far more interesting. This was only my second trip out and it wont be the last, first was south to the outer arm 37 days out, no farming there, BH & Neutrons scared the pants off me, still came back with 70million though. 12 ELW, 104 WW and a handful of accidental BH & Neutrons, all the rest were HMC and Gas Giants, they really do add up at the end of the day.
