If only a few dumbfires + a few hundred cans of Imperial Slaves achieved something!
Amusement value would be substantial.
The Empire is evil. The Federation is corrupt. The Alliance is both evil and corrupt but pretends that it isn't. As for Colonia, you've got to wonder what dark secrets they have, that they feel they have to be so far away from everyone else..
This is why the Kumo are the best- they don't hide what they are (so are the most honest), and are equal opportunity employers (in that anyone can achieve if they go for it).
So out of all the evil in the game, the Kumo are good evil, and simply not dishonest.
As for Colonia, I'm told its like the film Midsommar....

All are bad. All, but one small group of indomitable Commanders still holding out against the invaders. And life is not easy for the factions who garrison the with-the-flies-of-a-1000-camels-infested stations of Tenjin, Kinesi, Arora Astrum and Colonia.

Well the Empire seems to produce the 'most beautiful women in the bubble' and since you can have a literal 'harem' of beautiful slaves to please and comfort you after a long day of killing.........that does have an certain appeal to it.
