I could not see all of you scrambling for answers any longer, so I will provide at least the ones I have. Please do not ask me who I'm, or how do I know this stuff, or any other questions that I simply can not answer. I can at least tell you this much, I have a YouTube channel and deep roots in the video game industry. My association with all the other youtubers as well as professionals within the video game industry allows me a few perks. After the reaction of the Planet zoo community in regards to the upcoming DLC, it just feels wrong to keep silent. Planet Coaster paved the way for what you now know as Planet Zoo (The original plan was for a game based on a safari concept) As work progressed and new ideas popped up, the transition to a game that was based on modern day zoos took place. You guys have no clue how much work went into this game, and still does, it is not as simple as we all want it to be. There is another issue, that you guys do not see, the players with a high volume of traffic in YouTube really control this game, that is why you see the community managers always giving preference to their ideas. It is free advertisement, and frankly it worked really well with Planet Coaster. Sadly the great majority of them, just look at their videos have very little knowledge about what a real zoo should look like, they just like building parks that keep on viewers coming and for this they need the construction pieces to be added. Now without pointing fingers, or naming anyone, they have pushed this game from the path of it being about zoos and animals and more of a theme park with animals. I can tell you to expect even a few rides to be added. I wish I had better news for you, maybe with all this, something does change, but do not hope it. Until recently there was not even any plans to add additional foliage scenery, since some of the guys working on that left Frontier, it was all about the construction pieces and a few animals to just complement the theme. That is all I got, but I hope it helps, just enjoy the game for what it is. I can not give much info about this, but there is a north American based company that has started work on a zoo game as well, but that will be a couple of years away, when it does come however, it will have the benefit of a ton of feedback from this community.
