It sounds like she's inferring something happening to the support crew? Maybe if her sidewinder had jump capabilities she made it back to the settlement until the next time her support disappeared, afterwhich she couldn't, so had to find an alternative safe harbour.
Not quite correct. The log says "There's an Earth-like world *here*"; obviously a typo because there isn't an ELW in GL-Y E2... at least not one in orbit around the star. Maybe it's a Terra-bago?
How far away are these systems from the beacon systems? Particularly GL-Y E2?
She could be the old woman... perhaps she was rescued or headed home after the last log with the Sidewinder.

I don't think there is any reason that the messages only relate to the system the rally point is in - more likely that the rally point serves as a communications post or forward operating base for the rest of the expedition.

KL-Y D2 A 8 is quiet. No USS, no POI, no lights on the backside.

Plenty of us have already found a few earth-likes in EAFOTS. Maybe there was a trigger when we found all 4 settlements. A scarier thought occurred to me, though, which is that whatever ships are in those systems are "off" like the settlements and will not show up on any scanner. So now we are looking at the entire system's open space for a tiny ship. Or maybe just Lagrange points. Or I've gone space mad. Or had too much Old Janx Spirit. Or - and here's something to blow your mind - the whole universe is just a simulation.

You can add EAFOTS SC-D C12-1 and EAFOTS MR-N D6-1 to that list
RI-B, SL-R, TW-U and UO-Z are all within the Heart and Soul nebula. Hmm...
