But is it a glitch? Have hundreds of pilots flown there to check? This could be the discovery of a lifetime. Or more likely a glitch but you never know

With over a trillion planets how does one differentiate 'glitch' from 'statistically odd'.
This looks like a rendering glitch to me.
Cockpit icing is a common factor in all flowership encounter reports to date. Possibly related to the gravitic drive field -perhaps this interferes with the ship's envoronmental control system.
I spent a lot of, no a ridiculous, no an insane amount - of time trying to get a ship flying and better still - fighting with the cockpit canopy iced up, alas it simply isnt an available. In the end I reconfigured the ship a different purpose and effectively abandoned the "project iceberg" campaign.
+1 rep to the first person who can guess what type of ship I used.

I would have tried a keelback for icing

So Salomé was killed by an exploiter. Every module on the ship that killed her was modified to gold roll level, using the engineer exploit. HP would probably not succeeded without these mods.
I feel sorry for Drew now.![]()
Err, what did I miss Han. I was just commenting on Jays comments above on trying to mod a ship for icing up when flying and fighting.
I do know about the exploit outed recently re engineers but don't comment on those or all the others and cred making options. It happens a lot and while I choose not to use them many do. That just seems to be the way of things.
Some you can't even avoid unless nerfing yourself such as running BGS and only being offered planetary scans. You either give up on the BGS or drop multiple missions for 1 scan so not always clear cut.
The engineering one though, pretty clear cut to me but many people seem to forget that the fact you can do something doesn't mean you should.
Whether HP has or not? I have no idea, never met him in game or out. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt though not only as innocent until proven guilty is something I believe in, but also because he generally seems quite happy to admit everything he does.
According to Truthsilver that Clipper has god rolls on every single component. I trust him on that.
From what I have read earlier, that includes dual interdictors. One long range and one wide angle.
Salomé died to a cheat ship.
Ok. But still not sure why you quoted me. Lost on that one.According to Truthsilver that Clipper has god rolls on every single component. I trust him on that.
